Terms & Conditions
Cancellation, Break & Refund Policy
Welcome to Diet Therapy! Our goal is to provide personalized nutrition guidance, fitness support, and a positive experience to every client. To ensure smooth coordination between clients, dedicated dietitians, and fitness coaches, please read the following terms and conditions carefully before enrolling in any program.
By enrolling in a Diet Therapy program and making payment, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms.
1. Payment & Program Enrollment
- Program fees must be paid according to the payment terms communicated by Diet Therapy.
- Enrollment will be confirmed after successful payment and completion of the required registration formalities.
- Each program includes only the services, consultations, sessions, and duration specified at the time of enrollment.
- Programs are personalized and intended for the individual client enrolled. They cannot be transferred to another person without prior written approval from Diet Therapy.
2. Introductory Call & Diet Plan Delivery
- After payment and confirmation of enrollment, the dedicated dietitian will conduct an introductory call to understand the client's health history, dietary preferences, lifestyle, goals, and relevant medical conditions.
- Clients are expected to provide accurate health information, relevant medical reports, medication details, allergies, food preferences, and other information requested by the dietitian.
- The personalized diet plan will be shared within 48 hours after the introductory consultation is completed and the required client information has been received.
- The 48-hour period is necessary for the dietitian to assess the client's requirements and prepare an appropriate, individualized plan.
- If essential information or reports are pending, the delivery timeline may be extended, and the client will be informed accordingly.
- The introductory call, diet plan preparation, and subsequent services will follow the scope of the package purchased.
3. Session Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
This policy applies to scheduled consultations with dietitians and fitness sessions with fitness coaches.
- Clients must inform their dedicated dietitian or fitness coach at least 12 hours before the scheduled session if they need to cancel or request a reschedule.
- Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be communicated directly to the assigned professional through the agreed communication channel.
- If a client misses a session or cancels without prior notice, the session will be considered utilized and will not be replaced, rescheduled, or carried forward.
- Informing the professional after the scheduled session has started, or after missing the session, will generally be treated as a no-show.
- Late arrivals may result in a shortened session if the professional has other scheduled appointments.
- Rescheduling requests made with sufficient notice are subject to the availability of the assigned dietitian or fitness coach. A replacement slot is not guaranteed until confirmed.
- Repeated cancellations or no-shows may affect the client's ability to complete the program within its original duration.
Sessions cancelled by Diet Therapy: If a session is cancelled by the assigned dietitian, fitness coach, or Diet Therapy, an appropriate replacement session or rescheduling arrangement will be provided.
4. Break / Temporary Pause Policy
Clients who wish to temporarily pause their program must follow the procedure below.
- Clients must inform their dedicated dietitian or fitness coach directly about their intention to take a break.
- Clients must also send a formal email to info.diettherapy@gmail.com requesting a temporary pause.
- The email should include the client's full name, registered contact number, enrolled program, reason for the break, and intended break dates.
- A break will be recognized only after acknowledgment and confirmation from Diet Therapy.
- The maximum permitted break period is six months. A break cannot be extended beyond six months from the approved break start date under the standard policy.
- The client must contact Diet Therapy before the approved break ends to arrange program reactivation.
- Program validity, pending sessions, and the revised completion date will be confirmed by Diet Therapy in writing when the break is approved.
- A break does not automatically entitle the client to a refund, additional sessions, or a different program.
- If the client does not resume the program within the approved break period, the remaining services may expire in accordance with the agreed program terms and applicable law.
5. Refund Policy
Diet Therapy follows a no-routine-refund policy because programs involve professional time, personalized planning, scheduling, consultation, and allocation of dedicated resources.
- All program payments are generally non-refundable once enrollment is confirmed and program services have commenced.
- Once the introductory consultation, personalized assessment, diet plan preparation, fitness planning, or other program services have commenced, the client cannot request a refund merely because they have changed their mind, are dissatisfied with the pace of progress, have stopped attending, or are unable to continue for personal reasons.
- Failure to attend scheduled sessions, cancellations without the required notice, or non-utilization of the services included in the package will not ordinarily qualify for a refund.
- A temporary break, change in personal circumstances, relocation, change of preference, or discontinuation of the program does not automatically qualify the client for a refund.
- Program fees cannot ordinarily be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, or adjusted against unrelated services without prior written approval from Diet Therapy.
- Clients are encouraged to clarify all questions about the program, inclusions, duration, scheduling, and payment before enrolling.
- Any exceptional refund request will be reviewed individually by Diet Therapy management. Approval is not guaranteed and will be subject to the circumstances, the services already delivered, the agreed terms, and applicable law.
- If Diet Therapy is unable to provide a material part of a paid service and cannot offer a reasonable alternative, the matter will be reviewed and an appropriate remedy considered in accordance with applicable law.
Important: Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or restrict any refund, cancellation, or other right that the client may have under applicable consumer protection law.
6. Program Duration & Expiry
- Each program is valid for the duration communicated at enrollment.
- Clients are responsible for attending consultations and fitness sessions and completing the program within the agreed validity period.
- Unused sessions do not automatically carry forward beyond the program expiry date.
- Any extension must be requested in advance and approved in writing by Diet Therapy.
- Approved breaks and any resulting changes to program validity will be handled according to the written confirmation provided by Diet Therapy.
7. Client Responsibilities
To receive the best possible service, clients agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about their health, lifestyle, dietary habits, and fitness level.
- Inform their dedicated dietitian or fitness coach about relevant health changes, injuries, medical diagnoses, medication changes, pregnancy, or other circumstances that may affect their participation.
